Easy Friday

This will be the first weekend we don't have a game or "something" going on. No, I don't have the weekend off, but it is only practice so it won't be too bad. We practice this early this afternoon (2:45-5:45 pm) and then are off until tomorrow morning. We are going early in the day (8-11 am) so that we can all head over and watch the #3 Jayhawk football team at 2:30 pm. This is their final game at home this season.

We will not be able to attend their game next weekend in Kansas City against Mizzou because we will be in Dallas at a Thanksgiving tournament. We leave Wednesday for Dallas and will be gone through late Saturday evening. Eric is going with me on this trip because of the Thanksgiving holiday. For Thanksgiving this year, we will be eating at the hotel. With 30+ people, it is hard to go to a restaurant so we will have a catered meal at the hotel. We may have to cook "the real deal" this weekend as I have a feeling it is not going to be the same.
